Scope

This standard specifies the type classification, parameter series, and model marking of oil shale retort furnaces. The general technical requirements, test methods, and inspection rules, as well as marking, packaging, transportation, storage, and quality assurance, are given in the appendix.
This standard applies to oil shale retort furnaces that process materials such as oil shale, operate under normal pressure, and have a moving bed. Hereinafter, they are referred to as retort furnaces.
