Scope

This standard specifies the liquid chromatography-atomic fluorescence method for the determination of methylmercury and ethylmercury in water. This standard is applicable to the determination of methylmercury and ethylmercury in surface water, groundwater, domestic wastewater, industrial wastewater, and seawater. When the sampling volume is 1 L, the re-extraction liquid volume is 3.0 ml, and the injection volume is 100 μl, the method's detection limit is 0.08 ng/L to 0.1 ng/L, and the determination limit is 0.32 ng/L to 0.4 ng/L.
