Scope

This standard specifies the classification, illustrations, and markings of various sewing styles. Although it does not cover all aspects, it explains many of the most commonly used sewing types. This standard applies to common sewing styles in the garment industry, and all illustrations only show the cross-sectional structure of the sewing fabric layout. This standard should be used in conjunction with ISO 4915.
