Scope

This standard specifies the terms and definitions, basic requirements, inspection items, inspection of outdoor equipment areas, inspection operation requirements, and inspection data compilation for lightning protection inspections of petrochemical installations. This standard applies to lightning protection inspections of petrochemical installations and auxiliary production facilities. In addition to complying with this standard, lightning protection inspections of petrochemical installations shall also comply with the provisions of relevant national standards currently in force.
