Scope

This standard stipulates the principles for determining the scope of emergency planning areas, the determination of the actual boundaries of emergency planning areas, and the methods of emergency planning and preparation. This standard applies to fixed toxic gas hazard sources such as production facilities, storage facilities, pipeline transportation facilities, and usage facilities where the quantity of toxic gases is equal to or exceeds the corresponding critical values.
