GB/T 11313.35-2021 Radio-frequency connectors —Part 35:Sectional specification for 2.92 series R.F. connectors

Scope

This part of GB/T 11313 provides the content and rules for formulating detailed specifications for the 2.92 series RF coaxial connectors, as well as the blank format for the detailed specifications.
This part also specifies the mating interface dimensions of Class 1 high-performance connectors, the detailed dimensions of Class 0 standard test connectors, and the rules and test procedures for all detailed specifications applicable to the 2.92 series connectors selected from GB/T 11313.1-2013.
This part also stipulates the recommended ratings and characteristics that should be considered when preparing detailed specifications, and specifies the test list and inspection requirements applicable to M-class and H-class evaluation grades.
The 2.92 series connectors have a 50 Ohm characteristic impedance, an outer conductor inner diameter of 2.92 mm, and a threaded connection. They are used in millimeter wave applications and are compatible with RF cables or microstrips. The frequency of use of these connectors is at least up to 40 GHz.
The interface standards of the 2.92 series connectors are similar to IEEE Std 287—2007 (2.92 mm) and MIL-STD-348A (SMK). The 2.92 connectors can be interconnected with SMA series connectors (SMA: IEC 61169-35, MIL-PRF-39012D, and MIL-STD-348A) and 3.5 mm series connectors (3.5 mm: IEC 60169-23, IEEE Std 287-2007) that comply with the following standards.
