Scope
This standard specifies the methods for measuring the relative magnetic permeability of weakly magnetic materials (including austenitic stainless steel) using the solenoid method and the magnetic moment method. The relative magnetic permeability measurement range of the above two methods is shown in Table 1, and the applied magnetic field strength is within the range of 5 kA/m to 100 kA/m.
