GB/T 6343-2009 Cellular plastics and rubbers—Determination of apparent density

Scope

This standard specifies the test methods for determining the apparent total density and apparent core density of foamed plastics and rubber.
The apparent total density and apparent core density of materials that form a skin during molding, free foaming, or extrusion can be tested using this standard.
The term "apparent total density" is not applicable to materials that do not form a skin during molding.
For irregularly shaped products, methods such as the buoyancy method should be used for measurement.
