Scope

This regulation applies to process devices, auxiliary devices, and industrial pipelines (hereinafter referred to as pipelines) belonging to public utilities within the boundaries that meet the following conditions simultaneously: (1) The maximum working pressure is greater than or equal to 0.1 MPa (gauge pressure, hereinafter the same); (2) The nominal diameter (Note 1) is greater than 25 mm; (3) The medium transported is gas, steam, liquefied gas, liquid with a maximum working temperature higher than or equal to its standard boiling point, or flammable, explosive, toxic, or corrosive liquids. The scope of pipelines applicable to this regulation is as follows: (1) Pipeline components, including pipeline components (Note 2) and pipeline supports (Note 3); (2) Connection joints between pipeline components, and the first connection joint (welds, flanges) between pipelines and equipment or devices.
