Scope

This part specifies the environmental parameters and their severity levels of mechanical products in cold environmental conditions.
This part applies to general-purpose mechanical products used in the "cold" and "cold temperature I" climate zones specified in GB/T 4797.1, including agricultural machinery, internal combustion engines, construction machinery, heavy machinery, lifting and transport machinery, mining machinery, petrochemical machinery, electrical products, instruments and meters, machine tools, general parts, etc.
This part does not apply to products used in special environmental conditions such as the presence of explosive hazardous media in cold regions and mines.
