TSG S6001-2008 Examination Requirements for Safety Administrator and Operator of Passenger Ropeway

Scope

In order to standardize the assessment of passenger ropeway safety managers and operators and ensure the safe operation of passenger ropeways, this outline is formulated in accordance with the "Supervision and Management Measures for Special Equipment Operators" and the "Assessment Rules for Special Equipment Operators". This outline applies to the assessment of passenger ropeway safety managers and operators as stipulated in the "Regulations on the Safety Supervision of Special Equipment". Passenger ropeway safety managers refer to full-time personnel engaged in passenger ropeway safety management by the units using passenger ropeways. Passenger ropeway operators refer to personnel engaged in mechanical and electrical maintenance of passenger ropeway equipment, drivers, and personnel engaged in installation and maintenance, and rope-tying by the units installing and maintaining passenger ropeways.
