Scope

This part of GB/T 956 specifies the type and size, technical requirements, and marking of conical elastic washers.
This part is applicable to conical elastic washers (hereinafter referred to as washers) with specifications ranging from 2 mm to 30 mm, which are used in conjunction with bolts of performance grade 8.8 and 10.9 (GB/T 3098.1). If used with bolts of performance grade lower than 8.8, the performance of the washers will be significantly reduced due to deformation of the contact surface.
