Scope

This part specifies the classification and designations, dimensions, shapes, weights, technical requirements, inspections and tests, packaging, marking, and quality certificates of high yield strength hot-rolled steel sheets and strips for cold forming. This part is applicable to high yield strength hot-rolled steel strips for cold forming with a thickness not exceeding 20mm, as well as steel plates cut horizontally from steel strips and longitudinally cut steel strips, hereinafter referred to as steel plates and steel strips.
