Scope

This part of GB/T 24218 specifies a method for measuring the amount of spilled liquid after a certain quality of test liquid (simulated urine) is absorbed by nonwoven fabric samples.
This part can be used to compare the overflow volume of different nonwoven fabric samples, but it is not used to simulate the actual use conditions of the final product.
This part specifies three different test methods:
a)〖WB〗 Method I: Basic test method, suitable for hydrophilic nonwoven fabrics;
b)〖DW〗 Method II: Repeated test method, using the same test parameters as in a);
c)〖DW〗 Method III: Small-angle test method, using a test bench with a different inclination angle from that in a), suitable for hydrophobic nonwoven fabrics.
