Scope

This standard applies to the design of Class I and Class II standard gauge railways in which passenger and freight trains run on the same track. The designed speed of passenger trains is equal to or less than 160 km/h, and that of freight trains is equal to or less than 120 km/h. Class III and Class IV railways shall be designed in accordance with the corresponding design specifications
