Scope

This standard specifies the test method for the insulation performance of shoes against cold and heat changes, in order to provide information for the evaluation of shoe comfort.
This standard applies to all fully lined shoes and boots, but not to personal protective equipment. This standard is not applicable to safety evaluations.
