Scope

This part of GB 5768 specifies the general requirements for the classification, color, shape, characters, size, and graphics of road traffic signs, as well as the requirements for their design, manufacture, installation, and construction.
This part applies to the production, inspection, and installation of traffic signs on various roads, including highways, urban roads, and places such as squares and public parking lots that are open to public traffic, even those within the jurisdiction of units but allow social motor vehicles to pass through. Traffic signs set up in other places where motor vehicles pass through and parking lots can be implemented with reference to this part.
