Scope
This part of GB/T 31463 specifies the technical requirements for the classification, marking, dimensional inspection, structure, mechanical performance, and electrical performance of connection devices for household and similar-purpose lamps. This part applies to connection devices (DCL) for household and similar-purpose lamps, as well as electrical connection equipment used to connect fixed lamps to terminal circuits with a rated current of no more than 16 A, without providing mechanical support for the lamps. The connection devices for lamps are classified according to their IP rating as specified in GB 4208.
