Scope

This document specifies the terms and definitions, classification, grades, technical requirements, test methods, quality assessment procedures, packaging, marking, transportation, storage, and quality certificates for Al2O3-SiC-C refractory materials used in the working linings of molten iron pre-treatment equipment. This document is applicable to Al2O3-SiC-C refractory materials used in the working linings of torpedo-type molten iron transport and pre-treatment equipment such as molten iron cars and molten iron ladles (tanks).
