GB/T 31897.1-2015 Luminaire performance—Part 1:General requirements

Scope

This part of GB/T 31897 includes performance requirements and environmental protection requirements for lamps using electric light sources and with a power supply voltage not exceeding 1,000 V. Unless otherwise specified, the performance data covered in this part apply to new lamps that have completed the specified initial aging process and are representative of the lamps in the market. This part sets requirements for energy-efficient use of lamps and reliable environmental management at the end of their lifespan. The purpose of this part is to provide a set of requirements generally applicable to most types of lamps. Additional performance requirements for special types of light sources are specified in IEC 627222 (all parts). The intention of this part is that the information and data provided by lamp manufacturers (or responsible sellers) should meet the requirements of this part. The provided information will be evaluated according to the requirements specified in this part to determine its compliance. Data verification will be conducted in accordance with the measurement requirements of this part. Semi-lamps are not covered by this part. For certain types of lamps (such as decorative or household lamps), the performance parameters specified in this part may not be applicable.
