Scope
This regulation applies to the selection and calculation of current transformers and voltage transformers for protection and measurement in new, expanded, and modified power plants with a single-machine capacity of 1000MW or less, and in substations with voltages of 1000kV or less. It does not apply to transformers specifically used within measurement and protection devices, transformers dedicated to AC operation, or transformers used in laboratories.
