Scope
This document specifies the technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, packaging, marking, and quality certificates for borate-impregnated oxidation-resistant graphite electrodes, as well as their transportation and storage. This document applies to oxidation-resistant graphite electrodes made from mechanically processed graphite electrodes that have undergone borate impregnation and are used as conductive materials in electric arc furnaces.
