Scope

This document specifies the calculation methods for the volumetric and thermal properties of natural gas, synthetic fuel gases, and similar mixtures in a single-phase state (uniform gaseous, liquid, and dense states).
Note: Although the main application of this document is natural gas, artificial fuel gases, and similar mixtures, the methods mentioned here are also applicable to the high-precision calculation of the properties of each (pure) component of natural gas and mixtures formed after mixing with other binary and multicomponent mixtures (within the range of experimental uncertainty).
