Scope

This standard specifies the requirements for the design, materials, installation, inspection, testing, and preparation for shipment of general-purpose steam turbines. This standard also covers lubricating oil systems, instrumentation, control systems, and auxiliary equipment.
This standard applies to general-purpose steam turbines in the oil, petrochemical, and natural gas industries.
This standard does not apply to special-purpose steam turbines in the oil, petrochemical, and natural gas industries. Special-purpose steam turbines are subject to GB/T 28574.
Note 1: The supplier may propose alternative designs. With the consent of both the supplier and the buyer, equivalent fasteners and flanges can be substituted.
Note 2: In the event of any conflict between this standard and the inquiry form or order, the content contained in the order shall prevail.
