Scope

This document specifies the overall technical process and principles of intelligent remote sensing identification of hidden road defects, requirements for data acquisition and preprocessing, feature extraction and multi-source information fusion, model construction and validation, classification of identification results and presentation of outcomes, quality control and safety management, application and maintenance, etc. This document is applicable to multi-source remote sensing intelligent identification of hidden road defects, including applications such as general surveys, detailed inspections, special inspections, and decision support for maintenance. During long-term service, road infrastructure (including highways and first-class and lower-class highways) is prone to hidden defects such as subsidence of roadbeds, damage to pavement layers, voids, crack expansion, and abnormal groundwater due to multiple factors including traffic loads, natural environments, and material degradation. Such defects are often characterized by hidden locations, inconspicuous early indications, and gradual development, making it difficult to identify them promptly and accurately with conventional methods such as manual inspections or single detection techniques, which may lead to the accumulation and exacerbation of defects, subsequently causing structural damage and operational safety risks. With the rapid development of remote sensing technology, sensing technology, and intelligent information processing technology, the detection and identification of hidden road defects based on multi-source remote sensing data has gradually become an important technical direction for improving road detection efficiency and scientific decision-making capabilities. Various remote sensing and detection technologies, such as optical remote sensing, synthetic aperture radar, laser radar, geological radar, UAV aerial surveys, and vehicle-mounted detection, each have their own advantages in spat
