This standard specifies the gas chromatography-mass spectrometry method for determining the content of plasticizers (dibutyl phthalate, DBP; butyl benzyl phthalate, BBP; diethylhexyl phthalate, DEHP; dicyclohexyl phthalate, DNOP; diisononyl phthalate, DINP; diisodecyl phthalate, DIDP; dimethyl phthalate, DMEP; 2,2-dibenzyl phthalate, BDP; and triphenyl phthalate, TPP) in cellulose triacetate (TAC) films. This standard is applicable to the detection of the content of plasticizers (DBP, BBP, DEHP, DNOP, DINP, DIDP, DMEP, BDP, and TPP) in TAC films.
