Scope
This standard applies to vertical cylindrical steel storage tanks for crude oil, petrochemical products, and other similar liquids under normal pressure (including micro-internal pressure) with a storage medium self-weight not exceeding 10kN/m3 The design of the foundation (hereinafter referred to as "tank foundation") This standard does not apply to the design of foundations for low-temperature storage, media with extremely or highly hazardous toxicity, acid or alkali corrosive media, and elevated storage tank foundations. In addition to complying with this standard, the design of the tank foundation shall also meet the requirements of the current relevant national standards.
