Scope

This standard applies to the design of heating furnaces, heat treatment furnaces, and furnaces used for metal products in new, renovated, and expanded large and medium-sized steel enterprises. This standard does not apply to the design of melting furnaces. In the design of industrial furnaces for steel mills, we should actively adopt mature and reliable new technologies at home and abroad, and vigorously develop processes and equipment with independent intellectual property rights and core competitiveness.
