GB/T 7430-2012 Imaging materials—Photographic films—Specifications for safety film
Basic Information
Scope
This standard provides specifications and test methods for determining the fire safety of photographic film. This standard applies to unprocessed and processed films on various plastic substrates currently known.
These specifications apply to silver halide film (both gelatin-type and non-gelatin-type), color film, diazo film, microbubble film, and narrow-strip coated and full-width coated film. It does not include magnetic tapes and video tapes.
Appendix B introduces a test method for on-site detection of the burning performance of film, and the marking methods for safe film are listed in Appendix C. Appendix D introduces a simple test method for distinguishing non-safe nitrocellulose ester film bases from safe acetate cellulose ester film bases and polyester film bases.
