GB 50542-2009 Technical code for pipelines coordination in petrochemical plant

Scope

This specification is formulated to unify the technical requirements for the planning, design, construction, and survey of underground pipelines in petrochemical plant areas, ensuring their reasonable layout, safety and reliability, advanced technology, economic feasibility, and convenient management. This specification applies to the planning, design, and construction of systematic public utility pipelines and process pipelines in newly built, reconstructed, or expanded petrochemical plant areas, as well as the detection of underground pipelines and the establishment and application of pipeline integration information management systems. It also applies to the integrated pipelines within oil and gas fields and oil and gas transmission project sites. However, it does not apply to the integrated design and construction of pipelines within process units, system units, and storage and transportation facilities.
