Scope

This standard specifies the scope of application, normative reference documents, classification, requirements, test methods, labels and user manuals, packaging, transportation, and storage of growth hormone assay kits. This standard applies to kits for quantitatively measuring growth hormone based on the principle of double antibody sandwich assay. This standard does not apply to: semi-quantitative growth hormone assay kits labeled with colloidal gold or other methods (such as test strips, etc.); various growth hormone radioimmunoassay or immunoradiometric assay kits labeled with radioactive isotopes such as 125I.
