This guidance technical document provides guidance on the key features needed to achieve interoperability and compatibility when exchanging information on trustworthy health information between communication application systems.
The key features describe the interoperability requirements of interactive applications in the healthcare community, especially the interoperability needs between applications of healthcare subjects, healthcare professionals/healthcare providers, healthcare delivery organizations and their business units, and integrated interactive networks.
This guidance technical document is applicable to the drafting and implementation of key features of messaging and communication standards in the healthcare field, and is also applicable to software developers, distributors, healthcare providers, and end users of applications with key features.
