Scope
This guidance technical document provides basic data on the chemical solubility, acid and alkali resistance, and retention rate of breaking strength of certain textile fibers. This guidance technical document is applicable to ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene fibers, aramid 1414, aramid 1313, polyphenylene sulfide fibers, polyimide fibers, polyethylene terephthalate fibers, polybutylene terephthalate fibers, polylactic acid fibers, chitosan fibers, and lyocell fibers.
