Scope
This document specifies the test equipment, sample preparation, test conditions, test process, data processing, and test report for cavitation erosion testing. This document is applicable to material cavitation erosion testing using vibration cavitation, rotary disk cavitation, and jet cavitation test devices, which are used to evaluate the damage to metal materials caused by cavitation in fluid media and their cavitation resistance. Other materials subject to cavitation caused by liquid impact can also refer to this document for use.
