Scope

This part of GB/T 16895 is applicable to embedded electric heating systems for indoor and outdoor surface heating, as well as electric heating systems for similar purposes such as deicing and anti-freezing.
This part does not include heating systems for industrial and commercial purposes in accordance with IEC 60519, IEC 62395, and IEC 60079.
The heating systems that apply to this standard include those for walls, ceilings, floors, roofs, drainage pipes, gutters, pipelines, stairs, roads, and non-hardened surfaces (such as football fields and lawns).
