Scope

This standard specifies the layout requirements for the connection of supply and discharge pipelines used in dental equipment, dental treatment machines, instruments, and devices, including the requirements for the construction of pipelines and the interconnection between pipelines. This standard also stipulates the relative positions, centers, and minimum sizes applicable to water, wastewater, and suction (vacuum) supply pipelines, as well as the size of designated adjacent areas for electrical circuits and compressed air pipelines used in dental service facilities. The requirements of this standard apply to all types of dental treatment machines and dental treatment centers.
