Scope

This document specifies the general requirements for test equipment used for electrical safety measurement and monitoring in low-voltage distribution systems with a nominal voltage of AC 1,000 V and DC 1,500 V and below.
When the measurement equipment or measurement devices involve measurement tasks of various measurement equipment covered by GB/T 18216, the relevant parts of GB/T 18216 apply to each relevant measurement task.
Note: The term "measurement equipment" in this document refers to "test, measurement, and monitoring equipment".
Other parts of GB/T 18216 may specify additional requirements or differences.
