Scope

This standard applies to the seismic assessment and anti-seismic measures that should be taken for existing electrical equipment in industrial enterprises with a voltage level of 220 kV or lower, located in areas where the basic seismic acceleration value does not exceed 0.40 g (i.e., seismic fortification intensity of 9 degrees or lower), including power transformers, reactors, circuit breakers, lightning arresters, current (voltage) transformers, porcelain equipment, power capacitor groups (cabinets), battery groups (cabinets), switchgear cabinets, converter cabinets, control (protection) panels, DC panels, emergency power supply devices, combination electrical appliances, and other electrical equipment. This standard does not apply to the seismic assessment of existing electrical equipment in areas where the basic seismic acceleration value exceeds 0.40 g or in industrial enterprises with special requirements for seismic assessment.
