Scope
This part of GB/T 2912 specifies the method for determining the content of free formaldehyde or released formaldehyde in textiles using a high-performance liquid chromatography ultraviolet detector (HPLC/UVD) or a diode array detector (HPLC/DAD).
This part is applicable to any type of textiles.
This part is suitable for textiles with formaldehyde content ranging from 5 mg/kg to 1,000 mg/kg, especially for samples of dark extract solutions.
