JTG/T F20-2015 Technical Guidelines for Construction of Highway Roadbases

Scope

1.0.1 In order to improve the technical level of construction of highway pavement base and subbase and ensure the construction quality, these detailed rules are formulated. 1.0.2 These detailed rules apply to the construction of base and subbase of new and renovated highways of all grades. 1.0.3 Raw materials, construction mix ratios, construction processes, and quality standards and control regulations that comply with these detailed rules shall be used. On the premise of meeting the technical requirements of actual projects, local materials with reliable technology and reasonable economy shall be preferentially selected. 1.0.4 The quality assurance system shall run through the whole process of construction, clarify the quality responsibilities of all staff, strengthen the quality control and management of each work process, and ensure the quality of the project. 1.0.5 A sound safety production management system and emergency response plans shall be established, clarify safety responsibilities, strictly implement safety operating procedures, and safeguard the occupational health and safety of construction personnel. 1.0.6 Attention shall be paid to saving land, reducing energy and material consumption, and protecting the environment. 1.0.7 New technologies, new materials, new equipment, and new processes that are reliable in technology and reasonable in economy shall be actively and safely adopted. 1.0.8 In addition to complying with the provisions of these detailed rules, the construction of highway pavement base and subbase shall also comply with the relevant standards currently in force in China and the industry.
