This document specifies the determination of silicon content in metallic chromium using the dehydration gravimetric method with perchloric acid and the molybdenum blue spectrophotometric method.
This document is applicable to the determination of silicon content in metallic chromium. The determination range (mass fraction): 0.10%~2.00% for the dehydration gravimetric method with perchloric acid; and 0.10%~0.70% for the molybdenum blue spectrophotometric method.
