This standard specifies the viscosity grades, code explanations, and detailed classifications of automotive gear lubricants.
This standard applies to the viscosity classification and marking of automotive gear lubricants.
The viscosity grades in Table 1 only specify the classification limits of automotive gear lubricants from the perspective of rheological properties, without considering other lubricant characteristics.
