Scope: This document specifies the terminology and definitions, preparation for planting, establishment, management, pest and disease control, and harvesting techniques for intercropping passion fruit with young mango orchards. This document applies to the production technology of intercropping passion fruit with young mango orchards. Main technical content: 1. Preparation for planting: 2.1 Site selection: It is recommended to select sunny, well-watered, and easy-to-irrigate and drainage areas with convenient transportation for young mango orchards or orchards undergoing variety renewal. The soil should be high in elevation, with good drainage and water permeability, fertilizer retention, and water conservation. The soil layer depth should be ≥1.0 m, and the soil pH should be between 6.5 and 7.5. The soil environmental quality should meet the requirements of GB 15618. 2.2 Fence construction: Draw horizontal and vertical lines 80 cm to 100 cm away from the trunk center along the rows of fruit trees, with a fence height of 180 cm to 200 cm. The fence should be a vertical and ground-level plane with a certain height. 2.3 Land preparation and base fertilization: Level the soil surface, remove weeds, determine planting points based on planting density, and dig holes (diameter 50 cm, depth 40 cm). Add 3 kg to 5 kg of composted organic fertilizer and 0.5 kg of phosphorus fertilizer to each hole, mix well with the raw soil.
