GB/T 12149-2007 Water for industrial circulating cooling system and boiler—Determination of silica
GB/T 12149-2007 Water for industrial circulating cooling system and boiler—Determination of silica
Basic Information
Scope
This standard specifies the determination methods for the silicon content in industrial circulating cooling water, boiler water, and natural water. In this standard, the spectrophotometry method is applicable to the determination of soluble silicon content in industrial circulating cooling water ranging from 0.1 mg/L to 5 mg/L; the silicate analyzer method is applicable to the determination of silicon content in boiler water such as chemically desalinated water, boiler feedwater, steam, and condensate water ranging from 0 to 50μg/L; the gravimetric method is applicable to the determination of silicon content in industrial circulating cooling water and natural water exceeding 5 mg/L; and the hydrofluoric acid conversion spectrophotometry method is applicable to the determination of total silicon content in natural water ranging from 0.5 mg/L to 5 mg/L.
