Scope
This standard specifies the terms and definitions, technical requirements, statistical scope, calculation methods, and energy-saving management and measures for the unit product energy consumption (hereinafter referred to as energy consumption) limits of MSG produced using starch-based raw materials and MSG produced using purchased glutamic acid. This standard applies to the calculation and assessment of energy consumption of enterprises producing MSG using starch-based raw materials and MSG produced using purchased glutamic acid in Fujian Province, as well as the control of energy consumption in new and expanded projects.
