Scope
This standard specifies the classification and naming, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, and product marking, packaging, transportation, and storage of polyethylene (PE) resins. This standard applies to ethylene homopolymers or copolymers of ethylene and other 1-olefins as monomers, as well as polymers containing additives. This standard does not apply to ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene and colored, filled, modified, or reinforced polyethylene resins and masterbatches.
