Scope
This standard specifies the terms and definitions of rescue operations for trapped persons in road traffic accidents, response to alarms, reconnaissance and detection, area control, safety protection, vehicle stabilization, hazard elimination, opening rescue channels, expanding rescue space, rescuing trapped persons, and transferring them back to their units, etc.
This standard applies to rescue operations for trapped persons in road traffic accidents (excluding situations of dangerous chemical leakage) organized and implemented by public security fire brigades. Other professional rescue teams such as government full-time fire brigades and volunteer fire brigades may refer to and implement this standard when conducting rescue operations for trapped persons in road traffic accidents.
