Scope

This standard specifies the general guidelines for proving through testing that new rail transit vehicles comply with standards or other normative documents.
This standard is partially or fully applicable to all rail transit locomotives and vehicles, except for specialized locomotives and vehicles, such as tracklayers, ballast cleaning machines, and staff commuter vehicles. For specialized locomotives and vehicles, the scope of application of this standard can be specified in detail in the contract.
