Scope

This procedure applies to the initial verification, subsequent verification, and in-use inspection of digital indicator rail scales with medium and ordinary accuracy levels (hereinafter referred to as rail scales).
The non-self-indicating devices of electromechanical digital indicator rail scales shall be verified in accordance with the verification procedure of JJG 142—2002 "Non-Self-Indicating Rail Scales", and the digital indicating devices shall be verified in accordance with this procedure.
