Scope
This standard specifies the main characteristics of three-strand, four-strand, and eight-strand polypropylene monofilament or film ropes in their natural or colored states. These ropes are made of monofilaments or films belonging to the polypropylene class with a density close to 0.91 g/cm3. This standard applies to ropes with a linear density between 6.0 ktex and 11,521 ktex and a nominal diameter of 4 mm to 160 mm.
